On April 29, the world woke up to the news of actor Irrfan Khan's death. The acclaimed actor died after a two-year battle with a neuroendocrine tumour. He was 53.

Just when the news of actor Irrfan Khan's death was sinking in, the Hindi film industry woke up to the devastating news of the death of Rishi Kapoor just a day after Irrfan's demise. Actor Rishi Kapoor died on April 30 at 67 after a two-year-long battle with cancer.
4. Chiranjeevi Sarja

Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away on June 7 in Bengaluru, following a heart attack. He was 39. He was the brother of actor Dhruva Sarja and nephew of actor Arjun Sarja. In a career spanning about ten years, he acted in more than 20 movies. Chiranjeevi is survived by his wife Meghana Raj and their newborn son.
5. Saroj Khan

Ace Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away in Mumbai on July 3, following a cardiac arrest. She was 71. In a career spanning forty years, she choreographed nearly 2000 songs. Her most successful collaborations were with actors Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.
6. Wajid Khan

Wajid Khan of Bollywood music composer duo Sajid-Wajid passed away due to cardiac arrest on June 1. He was 42. He was popular for his songs like in the Salman Khan starrer 'Dabangg' series.
