Extensive rule being framed for coaching institutes in Bihar

Extensive rules are being framed for effectively regulating the functioning of the coaching institutes in Bihar, minister of state for home Vijendra Yadav told the assembly today.
    
Replying to a short-notice question of Ramdeo Verma, Yadav said state Human Resource Department department after getting instructions from chief minister Nitish Kumar was framing an extensive rule to be placed in the house soon for regulating the functioning of the coaching institutes.

Two students had died in course of the agitation against the coaching institutes allegedly dumping them on the pretext of completion of courses here on January 9, he said.

State government will pay a compensation of Rs one lakh to the bereaved families of each of the dead, Yadav said.

Dissatisfied with the minister's reply and alleged delay in declaring the compensation to the families, Opposition MLAs from RJD, Congress, CPI, LJP, CPI-M and BSP staged a noisy walkout of the house demanding action against the owners of the coaching institutes.
