Tony Blair the rat launches his career

LONDON: A rat called Tony Blair has launched a career as an artist. His portfolio consists of a gnawed four-leaf clover entitled Am I Still Lucky?, a chewed blanket and a sculptured avocado.

Tony even has his own blog, where he describes himself as a self-taught artist whose favourite mediums include foliage, fabric and electrical cables.

Owner Helena Seget, who runs an art studio in Newcastle, told the Daily Telegraph how she had watched Tony’s creative talent blossom. “I first noticed his creative potential when he walked across some clay tiles and left his paw prints and it went from there,” she said.
