US Secret Service agents guarding Washington's Kalorama neighbourhood for years, have had to worry about finding a toilet among many other things to worry about. As per a CNN report, agents protecting Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's home in Washington do not enter their 5000 square feet home in Washington with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

According to the source, the rental of the apartment was not only to provide toilet facilities, but also to serve as a downtime break room for agents in the area. There is also office space with Internet and a printer, as well as a kitchen, where agents can refuel after long shifts and during hours where finding open restaurants in the area proves challenging, the source said.

The Washington Post, which first reported on the expenditures, reported that since September 2017, the federal government has rented the space for $3,000 a month, or more than $100,000 to date.

However, a White House spokesperson denied the couple restricted agents from their home. White House spokesperson Judd Deere has been mentioned to have denied that Secret Service was refused permission to use facilities at Ivanka's house. Deere said that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner had "utmost respect" for the secret agents protecting the couple.

He claimed that their house was always open to them. Secret Service reportedly denied a comment.
