After France beat Croatia in the final to clich the title, a host of awards were handed out to the top performers of the FIFA World Cup 2018.
1. Luka Modric - Golden Ball

Croatia captain Luka Modric has won the FIFA Golden Ball for the best player at the World Cup 2018. It is the second consecutive tournament when the winner has been named as a player on the losing side in the final, after Lionel Messi was awarded it in Brazil 2014. (AFP)
