India have already won 7 gold, 10 silver and 2 bronze medals in Athletics at Asian Games 2018. This is India’s second best performance in Athletics at Asian Games. India had won 10 gold medals in 1951.

Another medal in Athletics for India as men's team win silver in 4x400m relay. Anas with a superb third leg gives Arokia enough room at the end to finish second behind Qatar as he holds off the challenge from Japan and Sri Lanka.

India's Zahan Kevic Setalvad and Kaevaan Kevic Setalvad finish 24th and 36th respectively in the Jumping Individual Event.

Manjeet Singh is India's first cyclist to be eliminated in the men’s omnium event on Thursday.

Heartbreaking finish for India's Manjeet Singh as he becomes the first cyclist to bow out in the men's omnium elimination race. He'd had a good day in the event but couldn't hold up when it mattered most.

Alert: India's Sharath Kamal's opponent in the Round of 16 on Friday is Taipei's Chih-yuan Chuang - World No. 14. The two earlier faced each other in the team event and it was the Indian who had ended on the losing side.

After a below average first dive, India's Ramananda Sharma has a better second dive, in which he does Back 2½ Somersaults in tuck position. 

His current score is 99.50 & he is ranked 8th now

Both Jyoti Tokas (78 kg) & Danish Sharma (90 kg) are through to Pre-quarters with their first-round respective wins.

India's Zahan Kevic Setalvad and Kaevaan Kevic Setalvad finish 30th and 36th respectively in the jumping individual final. The third Indian in the fray, Chetan Reddy Nukala, was eliminated.

India's Mouma Das suffers a straight-games defeat against Chinese Taipei’s Chen Szuyu. She loses 6-11 5-11 6-11 6-11.

Cycling Track Men's Omnium

India's Manjeet Singh comes 16th in a field of 18 cyclists in the tempo race. He heads into the elimination race in the 17th position overall.

India's Gaurav Tomar and Sunil Singh miss out on a medal as they come sixth in the men's C2 1000m final.

India's Aleena Reji was up against the legendary Lee Wai Sze while Deborah raced another Hong Kong cyclist Jessica Yan Hoi Lee and now both the Indians are out of the pre-quarters.

The first real positive of the day of India as Harshdeep Singh Brar defeats Sri Lanka’s Rajitha Pushpa Kumara in the men’s -81kg elimination Round of 32.

India's Deborah Herold and Aleena Reji finish 12th and 16th (last) respectively in the women’s sprint qualification round.

India's Manjeet Singh finishes 16th in the scratch race. He'll hope for a better performance in the tempo race which will begin shortly.

And that's a hat-trick of bad results for India to start Day 12.

Soniya Devi Phairembam comes last in the women's K1 500m event, with the Indian men's team doing the same in the K4 500m A-final.

Another poor result for India this morning. Sandeep Kumar gets three red cards for losing contact with the ground in the men's 50km racewalk, is disqualified just after the halfway mark.

Canoe - Women's C2 500m

Inaocha Devi and Anjali Bashishth finish 9th in the A-final. Disappointing start to the day for India. But there's a lot more to look forward to.

India have the opportunity of adding 11 more medals to its tally of 54.
