Temples in Delhi remain closed on 1st day of Chaitra Navratri due to lockdown

Jhandewalan Mandir remained closed for devotees amid lockdown, on first day of 'Chaitra Navratri' on March 25. The temple authorities have also put a notice board saying 'the temple will remain closed from 21st March till further notice as per the guidelines of the government’. Meanwhile, Kalkaji Mandir is also closed due to lockdown. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a nation-wide lockdown for 21 days in the country.
