Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted an international drug cartel by arresting its two key members Sanjeet Kumar Singh and Pardeep Kumar Yadav. Both were receivers of illegal consignment of drugs from North-Eastern states. 14kg of high grade heroin worth more than Rs 50 crores in the international market have been recovered from their possession. Specific information was received that two key members of an international drug cartel namely, Sanjeet and Pardeep would come to Sector-24 of Rohini to supply the heroin to their Delhi based contact. Accordingly, trap was laid down at the place of information. Two persons got down from an e-Rickshaw near the spot and started waiting for someone. Both the persons were correctly identified by the informer as Sanjeet and Pardeep were easily apprehended by the raiding team members.
