Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal said Congress is bereft of leadership while Modi is a strong leader, who can make the nation a superpower. In an interview with DNA, Goyal revealed the party's poll strategy.
Today, Modi is a popular political leader and a person, who has dedicated his entire life to serve relentlessly and improve the quality of life of 130 crore Indians. Even without taking a day's rest he is completely focussed on what he can do to make India achieve its potential and make it a superpower. We are not aiming for small outcomes, but aiming to serve 130 crore Indians without fear or favour, without any discrimination, and in the most transparent and honest manner. This is something which this country has never seen.
You can see the falsehood the Opposition is talking about every day. The Supreme Court pulled up Rahul Gandhi for making false claims. The Congress is bereft of leadership and its leadership has failed. Other parties are making alliances without common minimum programme and with no commonality of thinking. We also have parties sparring with each other daily and yet talking about future alliances to be made. The only purpose of their existence seems to remove Modi, to remove somebody, who is trying to serve the poor farmers and give dignity to our mothers and sisters.
If you look at the statements, they were made in a certain context. They were then, misunderstood as they were pulled out of context and taken in isolation. We respect the EC's decision and certainly, everybody will have to be careful. I can assure Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, party leaders, union ministers, and CMs are working with a view to serve the last man at the bottom of the period.
It is not a target but it is a reality. We can see on the ground the affection, the confidence, and trust that people have in Narendra Modi. The fact that they see in him a decisive and strong leader, who will save this country from terrorism, bring development, will not be buckled under the compulsions of coalition politics like the UPA government is promising.
For us, it is not about votes. Nationalism is in our blood and it is the very purpose of our being. We are all committed to develop a safe and secure India. We will not let terrorism ever raise its head in India and give a befitting reply to whoever attacks India in any way.
