I’m not seeing Ranvir Singh: Anushka Sharma

She is just two films old and raring to go. Actor Anushka Sharma played a demure girl in her debut film, sported a bikini in the second, and will be seen playing a wedding planner in her third.

“I find it ridiculous when I’m asked if I’ll wear a bikini ever again? Actors are supposed to be doing whatever the role demands,” says the pretty actress.

Another thing she’s quite fed-up of are rumours linking her to co-stars Shahid Kapoor and debutant Ranvir Singh. It all started when she was spotted with Ranvir at a suburban coffee shop recently. “I have no clue how that translates into us dating. We have worked together in a film and we are friends. What is wrong if we meet for coffee or dinner beyond the sets? I am just a normal girl,” she says.

So, is she single or not? “I am single and happy. I’m open about my life, and if there’s someone in my life, I’ll say so. But I’m not going around looking for love. If it happens then great, but if not then I am okay with it too.”

However, she’s quick to add about the dearth of good men. “Of course, there’s time for love, but it’s just that I haven’t met the right person.”
