The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on Tuesday was postponed after 4 players involved in different franchises tested positive for COVID-19 in their team bio-bubbles within 48 hours.

Earlier, several foreign players including the likes of Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson left the tournament midway to their countries as COVID cases continued to surge in India.

The 30th league match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday was even rescheduled after two players of KKR tested positive.

Here is the list of IPL 2021 players who tested positive for COVID-19.

KKR spinner Varun Chakravarthy had played 7 matches this season and had tested positive ahead of his team's clash against RCB on Monday. He took 7 wickets in the 14th edition. The match had to be rescheduled for the same reason.

It was learnt that the leg-spinner had visited a hospital for scans through the "Green Corridor". The possibility of him contracting the virus during the visit has been ruled out.

2. Sandeep Warrier
