Archie Schiller was presented with the iconic Baggy Green by his idol Nathan Lyon.
Seven-year-old Archie Schiller was presented with the iconic Baggy Green before the start of the Boxing Day Test match at MCG on Wednesday. Schiller, who was contacted by national coach Justin Langer during the recent Test series against Pakistan in the UAE and joined his teammates in Adelaide ahead of the first Border-Gavaskar Test, was given his replica baggy green by hero Nathan Lyon out on the MCG. After being presented with the Test cap, he also walked out for the toss along with captain Tim Paine as co-captain.
Archie also had words of wisdom for Australian team as he gave a message to the players. "Hit sixes and get wickets", was his message for the team before the start of the Test.

After Kohli won the toss and elected to bat, Paine told Fox Sports’ Isa Guha that despite not being sure what the best course of action was, Schiller was adamant it was a bat-first wicket. “Archie wanted to bat, 100 per cent, but I told him that I wasn’t entirely sure,” Paine said.
