Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have started doing the rounds of TV shows to promote their upcoming film Bharat. One of them is Rising Star, a live music reality show. Sources say that Dabangg Khan will turn love guru for Sanjay Satish, a contestant. “Sanjay is from Kerala and he is a shy person. He finds it difficult to approach and befriend girls. Salman, who is known for his easy charm, will give lessons to Sanjay on how he can build up his confidence and talk to the ladies around him,” reveals our informer, adding, “Salman will also ask him to imagine Katrina as his girlfriend and approach her.”

Kartik Aaryan is doing a film Aaj Kal with Sara Ali Khan, but it is Janhvi Kapoor he wants to see doing something unique. When the Luka Chuppi actor, along with his new bestie Jacqueline Fernandez, visited the sets of a Colors Infinity show, he was asked to name one actress whom he would like to see do the pole dance. Kartik said, “But pole dance is something which is for strength.” When host Neha Dhupia prodded him saying, “Somebody who you think is good and graceful,” he immediately replied, “I think Janhvi Kapoor will be graceful.” Wonder what Sara will say to this!

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have wrapped up a spell of their first collaboration, Sher Shah, in Chandigarh. The Aiyaary actor essays the part of Captain Vikram Batra, who sacrificed his life in the Kargil War and was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his valour. The actress plays his love interest, Dimple Cheema.  

While both the stars are working hard to essay their respective roles to perfection, we hear they even got a dekko into the Batra family’s album. “During the Chandigarh schedule, Sidharth and Kiara not only got to meet and interact with the late Capt Vikram Batra’s kin, but also got to see his family album to better understand the kind of person he was,” says our source. The Indian Army soldier fought one of the toughest operations in mountain warfare during the Kargil War and was referred to as Sher Shah in the intercepted messages of the Pakistan Army.

More often than not, we see actors lending their voices to the Hindi dubbed version of South Indian films. Taapsee Pannu, who stars in the upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual Game Over, will be dubbing her lines for the Hindi version.

“Rarely do you come across scripts and concepts that aren’t shot in region-specific way. This is one of them and I wanted to make sure I get it for the Hindi audience as well,” she says, adding that she and the team are lucky her Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap agreed to present her South Indian film for the Hindi-speaking audience. “The movie used dubbing artistes in those two languages, but I’m doing the voiceover for the Hindi version myself. I feel it adds so much to the character if an actor dubs for his/her own self.”
