1. Kajol’s performance makes Helicopter Eela crew teary-eyed

Kajol, one of the powerhouse performers of contemporary Indian cinema, returns to the screens with Helicopter Eela. The actress, whose last Bollywood release was Dilwale, about three years ago, essays the part of a single mother of a teenage son (played by National Award-winning Bengali actor Riddhi Sen) in this Pradeep Sarkar directorial.
During the filming of a crucial scene of the climax, the Padma Shri (2011) awardee had the crew moist-eyed with her heart-rending histrionics.
Recalls a crew member, “The climax of the movie is an intensely emotional one. And when Kajol enacted the high-strung scene, everyone present had tears in their eyes. Looking at her emote so strongly made us remember our poignant moments with our mothers.”
Looks like the actress is all set to take cinegoers on an emotional roller-coaster journey with her upcoming movie.
Helicopter Eela, presented by Ajay Devgn & Jayantilal Gada (Pen), co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Reshmaa Kadakia, Kushal Kantilal Gada, Neeraj Gala and produced by Ajay Devgn, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, releases on October 12.
2. Bigg Boss 12: Tabu returns on Salman Khan's show this Weekend Ka Vaar

After Varun Dhawan, who brought the Bigg Boss 12 house down with his mad antics last week, host Salman Khan will have new guests this weekend, too. One celebrity mehmaan is someone the superstar is extremely fond of and shares a great equation with — Tabu.
Says our informer, “Tabu will be shooting with Salman this Friday. She has already been part of the show several times to promote her previous films like Fitoor, and Golmaal Again. The channel is planning a special segment for Salman and Tabu, also because they will soon be seen playing brother and sister in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat.”
3. India’s Best Dramebaaz: Govinda sings a song in Kannada

Govinda recently visited the sets of India’s Best Dramebaaz where the contestants performed to some of his hit songs. Impressed with the kids’ moves the actor also joined them and danced in his inimitable style to tracks like Mai Se Meena Se, Soni De Nakhre and Akhiyon Se Goli Maare.
But what surprised everyone present was Govinda singing a Kannada number. According to a crew member, “One of the contestants, RS Shreesha, was conversing with her mother in their native language. When Govinda heard it, he couldn’t resist singing a song in Kannada. He recalled that when he was a child, his caretaker used to speak in Kannada. That’s how he understood what Shreesha was saying and immediately broke into the song he had learnt in his childhood days.”
