For Met Gala 2019, Deepika Padukone opted for an all-pink look and turned heads on the pink carpet.
The Met Gala has always been one of the most prestigious events held in New York City. The annual ball is all about who's who of celebrities channelling their fashion sense according to the vibrant theme that's declared and slaying on the red carpet like a BAWSE. Deepika Padukone, who got international recognition by debuting in Hollywood film, xXx: Return of Xander Cage made her Met Gala debut back in 2017. She was seen wearing a white gown by Tommy Hilfiger which had embellished straps on her deep back.
Last year, in 2018, DP opted for a Prabal Gurung red gown with wet hair look. For both of her look, the actor received mixed reaction from the fans as well as the fashion critics. Since the time, it was known that Deepika would be attending Met Gala 2019, people couldn't wait to see her look.
Well, the time has come, and Deepika finally walked the red carpet at Met Gala 2019, held on May 6.

For her third appearance at Met Gala, Deepika Padukone opted for a custom Zac Posen gown. She looked like an epitome of a Barbie doll in her attire with a perfect hairdo.
The actor wore a pink strapless gown which had lurex jacquard and embellished with 3D-printed pieces. Her outfit resembled the embroidery for Met Gala 2019.

She styled her hair in a high voluminous ponytail with a pink headband finishing off the Barbie-esque look.
3. Walking like a princess

Before hitting the pink carpet, Deepika grabbed many eyeballs by walking out of her hotel to her car. She kept her million dollar smile intact throughout.

Deepika, who is known for her grace and poise, walked the red carpet like a Queen. While climbing the steps, she elegantly held her gown and was even helped by an usher as well.

Deepika opted for a nude makeup look with a dark lipstick. We are loving the fact that this look of the actor will go down in history.
