Anurag Kashyap's 'Manmarziyan' starring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal is slated to release on September 7
Well, it is for the first time that ace filmmaker Anurag Kashyap tried his hand on a film like Manmarziyan, which is completely different from the other films he has directed so far.
Anurag, who is known for filming dark, intense, violent and serious films, this time took up romance as the theme!
Interestingly, the film's star cast and director changed a couple of times before producer Aanand L Rai zeroed in on Anurag.
While the star cast of the film- Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan, along with Aanand L Rai and writer Kanika Dhillon are busy with the musical tour, Anurag organised a screening of the film in Mumbai.
Few actors who have worked with the Gangs of Wasseypur director were present at the screening.
Among them, Anurag's ex-wife Kalki Koechlin was also seen at the do.
Kalki absolutely beautiful and fresh in a monochrome saree, while Anurag chose to put on a black t-shirt and blue denim.
The two seemed very cordial and in fact gave each other a warm hug! The two looked extremely happy and smiled ear to ear for the cameras.
