1.Akshay Kumar’s not throwing a Diwali party

Power couple, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, are not hosting a Diwali bash this year. Instead, the superstar will attend a bash or two thrown by his inner circle. Besides performing a Puja at his home and office, the actor will play a game of cards, too.
2.Sonam Kapoor celebrates Diwali in London with family

This will be the first Diwali for Sonam K Ahuja after her marriage to Anand S Ahuja. The Kapoors (who wanted to have a low-key celebration because of Sridevi’s demise) have flown to London to keep the Ahujas company. A source says, “Sonam and Anand were already in the UK capital. Harshvardhan, Rhea, Anil and Sunita have also joined the couple at their London home. For this khandaan, it is about spending some quality time together.”
3.A Dhamakedaar Diwali for Aamir Khan

Along with Akshay and SRK, another superstar who always calls for a huge celebration every Diwali is Aamir Khan. His ambitious project Thugs Of Hindostan also releases tomorrow. Along with that, it’s his wife Kiran Rao’s birthday as well. A source said, “Kiran wanted an intimate affair, but one hears that Aamir’s friends plan on visiting them. And once that happens, well it’s usually a long night.” As Aamir confessed to us, he is a reckless gambler and loves playing cards during Deepawali.
4.Karan Johar to celebrate Diwali with his protégés

Karan Johar is organising a small Diwali puja at his office, a custom that he has been following over the years. Joining the mentor will be all his protégés — both actors and directors — who have been launched by his banner. Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and the younger crop of newcomers like Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and others will attend the puja.
5.A small Diwali gathering for Ekta and Tusshar Kapoor

Ekta Kapoor and brother Tusshar organised their annual Diwali party last night. A bash at their home has been a tradition for years. However, unlike other years, this time, they opted for a smaller gathering. Both siblings said, “Keeping in mind that some of our family friends are not well, it’s a low-key affair.”
