Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan worked with each other in the early 2000s and reunited on the big screen after 14 long years in 2016.
In the very start of November month, we have birthdays of the two of the biggest stars of Bollywood. Yes, we are talking about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who celebrates her birthday on November 1, while Shah Rukh Khan was born on November 2. Talking about these two actors, their working relationship is something which has become a talk of the town over the years. At an event, SRK had described it most funnily.
Shah Rukh had said, "I have been very unlucky with Aishwarya. It's a shame that in our first film (Josh), Aishwarya, the most beautiful woman in the world, in the universe and even beyond on all the planets, was my sister. She played my twin sister and people even told me that we look alike. I am still living in this misunderstanding that though I played her brother, I at least look like her."
Talking about Devdas, SRK went on to say, "Everything was in place but I left her and when I returned, she had left me. I have been very lucky that I never got the opportunity where she could love me, I could love her (on-screen)." Recalling Mohabbatein, SRK quipped, "Mohabbatein me ye bhootni thi (She was a ghost in Mohabbatein)."
The superstar added, "I was trying a lot to do a normal film with her where we could get out of these brother-sister things. We have now become parents and meet outside our children’s school when we pick up our kids. I am sorry my son (AbRam) made your father-in-law my papa, I have a working problem with her (Aishwarya)."
