As Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat' records the biggest opening of all time for the superstar, let's take a look at his top 10 films to achieve this feat.
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat finally hit the screens on June 5, 2019, on the occasion of Eid. The helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar is the Hindi adaptation of Korean film Ode To My Father. Even before the release of the film, it raked in Rs 24 crore from the advance booking which is sixth best of all time and second for this year after Avengers: Endgame.
As per Box Office India, Salman and Katrina's film has minted about Rs 41.50 crore nett on its opening day making it the second highest of all time after Thugs of Hindostan. Bharat also has gone on to become Salman's biggest opening film of all times which is definitely incredible. The superstar, who usually releases the film during Eid festival again got an advantage and passed with flying colours on the day of its release.
Salman even thanked his fans for making Bharat the biggest opener of his career. He tweeted, "Big thk u sabko fr giving sabse bada opening mere career ka par what made me the happiest & proudest is ki during a scene in my film jab national anthem is recited ev1 stood up as a mark of respect. There could be no bigger respect for our country than this... Jai Hind #Bharat"
