As electric vehicles become more popular in the country, the market is expanding. Many electric cars are slated to come out in Indian markets in 2021.

Audi e-tron was introduced a couple of years back and it was going to be launched in India in 2020. Since it could not happen this year, it is a car to look out for next year. This electric car comes with a 95 kWh lithium-ion battery. It can be charged to about 80 per cent through a fast charger in just 30 minutes. It claims a range of about 400 km as well.

2.Volvo XC40 Recharge

Volvo XC40 Recharge is the first fully electric production of the luxury automobile maker. As Volvo starts electrifying its entire range from the smallest SUV onward, it is confirmed that Volvo will launch this eagerly-awaited electric car in India in 2021. With its 78 kWh battery, it offers a range of about 400 km in one full charge.

4.Mahindra eKUV100

Mahindra & Mahindra Managing Director & CEO Pawan Goenka recently announced that Mahindra's eKUV100 would launch in India in three months. The company first showed its almost near-production model of e-KUV100 at the Auto Expo in 2018 and finally showcased its ready for production version at the Auto Expo in 2020. At a cost of Rs 8,25,000, which was revealed earlier, it would be one of the most affordable EV in India.

To be priced under Rs 10 lakhs, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R EV may come out in the markets next year. It has been tested in different terrains and weathers across the country. Many details of the car have not been shared yet but it will give a tough competition to other EV when it comes out.
