Actress Mohena Kumar Singh is all set to tie the knot in two months
'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actress and princess of Rewa, Mohena Kumari Singh, is all set to tie the knot in two months. She was rumoured to be leaving the show but she has rubbished all rumours of quitting the show.
An unseen picture of Mohena, all decked up, standing with an unknown man from her supposed roka ceremony in her hometown Rewa had went viral on the internet, last year. Since then, reports of her impending wedding have been going around but the actress chose not to open up about it.
However, in a recent interview she not just confirmed that she is getting married in the next two months but also revealed that her husband is a politician.
1. Mohena confirms her engagement and wedding date

Mohena recently spoke to the TimesofIndia.com and confirmed her wedding news and also informed that she will be taking a long break after tying the knot. She said, "Yes, I am getting married and will be going on a long break when I will be tying the knot in the next two months or so."
Mohena also added, "I am getting engaged in February, in the second week."
2. Wedding might take place by the end of this year

In an interview to TellyChakkar, Mohena said, "There are a lot of wrong dates flying around. Many speculations are being made, obviously because I haven’t commented too much on these things. I would like to clarify that I am going to get engaged in February and probably getting married at the end of this year."
3. Mohena denies quitting 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'

Reports of Mohena Kumari Singh aka Keerti Goenka quitting the show has been going around since a long time. However, the actress put all the rumours to rest and revealed, "It's nothing like that as of now. If according to the story, going ahead Kirti dies, then it's the makers call, a creative call. But I, from my end am not quitting the show."
Mohena continued, "I haven't put down papers or anything as such and I don't want to also. I am very proud that I am apart of a show that is going on for 10 years and literally I am a part of history. I am very happy. As long as I can do Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, I will do it. But if the makers want Kirti to die then I don't know what to do. We will have to wait and watch what happens on the show."
4. It's going to be an arranged marriage for Mohena

When asked if she is feeling any kind of pressure, she told Tellychakkar, "I am a very non-starry and grounded person. I don’t fly high, I am just like a girl-next-door. I don’t think too much about news relating to my personal life getting leaked and all. Having said that, of course, I wanted to keep things a little private as it’s going to be an arranged marriage for me. I did not really want to talk much about it. I was dealing with it, and I felt I would talk about it when the time is right."
5. Mohena's husband belongs to a political family

"I would not like to reveal the identity of my partner, but he is a through gentleman and a very normal, down-to-earth, and humble person. He is into a lot of social service. He belongs to a political family," Mohena revealed.
6. Just FYI, Mohena and Rishi Dev are only good friends

When asked about her co-star and alleged love interest Rishi Dev, Mohena had earlier said, “We have gotten pretty close, but just as good friends."
On his friendship with Mohena, Rishi had remarked, "Mohena is very special person, a great co-actor to work with and we are just good friends!"
