State Bank of India is offering SBI Power Demat account which allows customers to avail benefit of SBI Savings Account, SBI Demat account and SBI trading account.

In this unique SBI account, the customer will have a savings account in SBI while Demat and Online Trading account with SBICap Securities Limited. For details of the SBI Power Demat Account, one can check details online at the official SBI website — onlinesbi.com.

In this account, an SBI customer can avail bank loan by pledging one's securities online as one's Demat Account and Savings Account is with SBI. If the SBI Power Demat Account holder applies for IPO, and the company allots IPO to the customer, then security balance transfer will be smooth and faster. If the account holder has holdings up to Rs 50,000, then the account holder need not pay any maintenance charges. However, for holding from Rs 50,001 to Rs 2 lakh, the annual maintenance charge is Rs 100.
