From being an adjunct to saris, blouses have become a style statement in themselves. Not only have the cuts become more daring, with colourful little frills and fripperies added on, but they've also become more unconventional and experimental. Team a T-shirt with your sari, or a top that you would otherwise wear with a pair of jeans. Chosen right and worn with panache, they'd make even the most basic sari stand out.
