The Congress was set to make a comeback in Chhattisgarh while trends showed the party ahead in Rajasthan and locked in a tantalising, see-saw battle in Madhya Pradesh. 

However, Congress gained a massive lead in Rajasthan on Tuesday and the incumbent BJP trailed shortly after the voting began today. Here is the list of key candidates in Rajasthan: 

Congress chief Sachin Pilot was leading in Tonk constituency, while BJP's Vasundhara Raje was leading from Jhalraptan. As per the latest trends, former Chief Minister Alok Gehlot was leading from Sadrapura.
