Usually, they announce a new series of iPhone models this time every year but now the company is reportedly looking at a new smartwatch Apple Watch series, and a new iPad model.

1. 'Time Flies': New Apple Watch on the way

Jon Prosser, a reliable Apple insider said in a tweet that the new model will feature a similar design as the Apple Watch Series 4, with 40mm and 44mm sizes to be available.
Prosser added that this lower-priced Apple Watch will lack some newer features like the ECG app and an always-on display.

It was also mentioned that the model will include the M9 chip, which is one of Apple`s older motion coprocessors found in devices like the iPhone 6s, the original iPhone SE, and the fifth-generation iPad.
Earlier, Apple filed several more unreleased Apple Watch models in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC)database.
The Apple Watch filings follow previous model identifiers, with the A2375, A2376, A2355, and A2356 likely being cellular models, and the A2291, A2292, A2351, and A2352 being GPS-only models.

According to the documents published by the EEC, Apple has registered 8 Apple Watches and 7 iPad models, which means that Apple will soon release the new Apple Watch and iPad, reports MacRumors.

Rumours suggest that Apple may also announce a new iPad or iPad Air on Tuesday's 'Time Flies' event, whereby they could introduce a refreshed lower-cost iPad model with an 'edge-to-edge' display, as earlier reported by Bloomberg.
According to CNN, it would be Apple's second iPad launch this year -- the company unveiled an update to its iPad Pro line in March. Apple said at the time that it had sold 500 million iPads to date, and the product has remained the top selling tablet for 10 years.
5. 'New iPhone' rumours put to rest

Earlier, rumours fueled the market suggesting that Apple could introduce a new model of their flagship smartphone -- the iPhone 12.
However, the rumours have been put to rest after Bloomberg confirmed that new iPhones won't launch until October and especially owing to the fact that Apple had earlier said new iPhones would ship slightly later than usual this year.
