During an interaction with a weekly magazine, Malaika Arora finally broke her silence on being in a relationship with Arjun Kapoor.
After keeping mum for the longest time, Malaika Arora confirmed on Instagram that she is indeed in a relationship with Arjun Kapoor. The couple has been together for quite some time and even started making public appearances without being media shy anymore. Moreover, they even comment on each other's Instagram posts which have become an everyday phenomenon. Earlier, when Arjun was asked about wedding rumours with Malaika, he had said, "If I was keeping it personal, I wouldn’t even be answering your question. I’ve answered that I am NOT getting married, so there’s nothing to hide. If I was getting married, I would tell everybody."
Arjun had also said, "If you actually check the last few interviews that I’ve done, I’ve spoken very candidly and openly about it. The day I decide to get married, I will not hide it from anybody. It is not something that I want to hide. If I’m open about my relationship, there’s no reason for me to want to hide my marriage."
Now, during an interaction with HT Brunch, Malaika happily spoke about being in a relationship with Arjun, age-difference and wedding date.
1. On being in a relationship again after divorce

When HT Brunch asked Malaika Arora on finding love again after getting divorced, she replied, "It feels amazing! When my marriage ended, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be in another relationship and was scared of being heartbroken. But I also wanted to be in love, nurture a relationship, and this new me gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did!"
2. Age difference matters?

When asked if age difference with Arjun Kapoor makes their relationship different, Malaika said, "The age difference doesn’t really pop up when you are in a relationship. It is about two minds and hearts connecting. Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time. An older man romancing a younger girl is hailed everywhere, but when the woman is older, she’s called ‘desperate’ and a ‘buddhi’. For people who think like this, I have just one line: Take a flying f***."

When asked about son Arhaan Khan's reaction to her relationship with Arjun, Malaika stated, "I believe the best way to approach any situation is with honesty. It’s important to tell your near and dear ones what’s happening in your life and then give them time and space to understand and process things. We have had that conversation and I am so glad that everyone is in a much happier and more honest space today."
