After filming all through Saturday night for Kalank in Hyderabad and packing up at 6:30 am, she headed to the airport for her return to the bay.
On Sunday, the Raazi actress shot first for a television show, followed immediately by an ad campaign shoot. In the evening she completed her commitment for an awards nite and rushed back to complete her endorsement work. And on Monday morning, she boarded the flight to the Charminar city, to resume the shoot for Kalank. Phew!

Naseeruddin Shah minces no words and says it like it is. On Monday night, he took to Facebook to slam Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli. The veteran actor wrote, “Virat K is not only the world’s best batsman but also the world’s worst behaved player. His cricketing brilliance pales beside his arrogance and bad manners.. And I have no intention of leaving the country by the way (sic).”
Earlier in the day, the Indian skipper had a run-in with Australian captain Tim Paine and was about to chest-bump him during the Aussie team’s second innings when umpire Chris Gaffney stepped in to calm the rivals. Naseer’s last line could be a sarcastic reaction to Virat asking a fan to leave the country if he didn’t like Indian players. The ace cricketer had shared the video online last month while promoting his app. While the Indian captain’s on-field aggression, particularly in Australia, has come in for some criticism lately, the veteran actor can be said to suffer from foot-in-the-mouth syndrome.
Over two years ago, he courted controversy when he called Rajesh Khanna “a poor actor” and blamed the phenomenon for bringing mediocrity in the movies in the 1970s. It was only after the late superstar’s daughter Twinkle Khanna responded, “Sir, if you can’t respect the living, respect the dead — mediocrity is attacking a man who can’t respond (sic)”, that Naseer apologised saying, “I apologise to those who were personally offended, my intention was not to attack him (Rajesh Khanna).”
A couple of months prior to that, Naseer’s veiled comments against Anupam Kher also attracted flak. Mocking the Saaransh actor, he had said, “A person who has never lived in Kashmir has started a fight for Kashmiri Pandits. Suddenly, he has become a displaced person.” Kher responded saying, “Shah Saab ki Jai Ho. By that logic NRIs should not think about India at all. :) (sic).”
