In pics: Fairytale love story of T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar and actor-filmmaker Divya Khosla Kumar

Bhushan Kumar first met Divya Khosla Kumar in the year 2004 on the sets of her debut film 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo'. She was cast opposite superstar Akshay Kumar. The couple’s first meeting was very formal and professional.

Divya and Bhushan then started to text each other. During an interview, Divya Khosla Kumar had said that she was from a conservative Punjabi family and did not want to get close to any rich boy. Divya felt that Bhushan Kumar was just having fun with her. So, the actress stopped responding after some eventually. 

When Divya stopped responding to Bhushan Kumar, he sent his cousin Ajay to visit Divya's house in Delhi to find out why she was not replying to his messages. After this, Divya realised that Bhushan was serious for her.

Later, Bhushan invited Divya to his sister’s wedding and the two got into a relationship shortly after that. At the age of 21, Divya got married to Bhushan in February 2005 at the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu.

In 2011, Divya and Bhushan became parents to son Ruhaan Kumar. The actress regularly shares photos with her son and husband on her social media.

After marriage, Divya said goodbye to her acting career and became active as a producer and director. In 2014, she produced ‘Yaariyan’ and many other films after that. 

Divya is now set to make a comeback to films and will be next seen as a female lead in Milap Zaveri’s ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ alongside John Abraham. The film is a sequel to the 2018 film starring John and Manoj Bajpayee of the same name.
