Punjab: Relative of Amarjeet Johal, killed in FedEx shooting in US, curses family’s luck

The deadly shooting in Indianapolis city of Indiana, US claimed the lives of eight people including four Sikhs. Amarjeet Johal, 66, is one of the victims that were killed by a former employee of FedEx at the company’s facility on April 15. Amarjeet’s relative Sewa Singh Johal, who is the cousin brother of the victim’s husband Makhan Singh Johal, expressed shock over the incident while cursing their luck. Sewa Singh revealed that Makhan Singh’s family settled in the US 35 years ago, and he received the unfortunate news from her kids who live in England. Sewa Singh himself lives in England but had returned to India five months amid the pandemic.
