It is to be noted that PUBG Mobile India was banned by the Centre in September 2020 due to privacy concerns.

Though some reports claimed that PUBG Corp is gearing up to release PUBG Mobile India in March there is no announcement by the company in this regard. Some experts are of the view that PUBG Mobile India is unlikely to make a comeback soon.

The official trailer of PUBG: New State was recently released by PUBG game developers. The game is already available for pre-registration on Google Play Store.

The game is set in 2051 and it place years after the current PUBG games -- which are set in approximately modern times -- on a new map called Troi. The game is expected to be equipped with several near-future weapons and vehicles, like drones and deployable combat shields.
