TV actress Sayantani Ghosh returns with a kitty of offers

Successful TV actor Sayantani Ghosh may have her roots in Kolkata but she says she has become a hardcore Mumbai girl now. The actress also credits the city for giving her the opportunity to scale greater heights.

“I feel that this city has treated me really well and I am grateful to God for reaching new heights in the recent years. I hope my fans continue loving and appreciating my work as they have even in future,” Sayantani tells us while answering how difficult it has been for her to fight it out in the industry after coming to Mumbai from Kolkata.

Sayantani has her bag full with offers with her now signing up for a soap titled Rakt Sambandh.

Ask her why she chose to do the soap and she shoots, “Naagin and Ghar Ek Sapna was the stepping stone for me in the television industry. After a brilliant start, I did not want to choose any role that was offered to me. When I heard the script, I really liked its concept. It’s new and extremely fresh. There is no over the top drama and is easy to relate with the audience. I personally like my track in the show as I feel it’s close to reality. Also, I adore the costumes given to my character since they are something that every woman of my character’s age would wear.”

She adds, “Rakt Sambandh means blood relations and is a story of five sisters. I play the character of Sakshi who is a software engineer by profession.”
