Sara Ali Khan, who is all set to appear in the movie 'Coolie No 1' opposite Varun Dhawan next, has completed two years in Bollywood. The actress made her debut in Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kedarnath' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput on December 7, 2018.
Even before her debut, Sara, born to actors Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh, constantly made headlines. Although today Sara often trends for posting a photo on Instagram, the actress made headlines two years ago for her Instagram debut.
She was also constantly linked to controversy or rivalry even before entering Bollywood. Sara, who was sure of making her debut with 'Kedarnath', was not-so-sure if the film would even release, after one point. She then signed up for 'Simmba', and in the middle of it all, the actress was compared to Janhvi Kapoor, born to late actor Sridevi and her producer-husband Boney Kapoor.

Eventually, even 'Kedarnath' got back on track and Sara made a dual debut in 2018 - with both 'Kedarnath' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and 'Simmba' opposite Ranveer Singh. The only question was - which film would release earlier. Eventually both the films released in the same month - December - within a few weeks. 'Kedarnath' released on December 7, while 'Simmba' hit the screens on December 28.
