At the company's annual fall event today, Google's upcoming hardware isn't going to be much of a surprise thanks to a plethora of leaks over the past couple months. Here's what we know is coming on October 9 and what we have a hunch about.

1. Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL

It's no surprise that the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are set to launch. The two phones will be functionally nearly identical, the only major difference between them being size. Both will be powered by the gesture-focused Android 9 Pie, like all other Pixel devices at this point, but 9to5Google did spot a leak that indicates some tech details: Included in the models are Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processors, Adreno 630 graphics processing units, 4GB RAM, 3,430 mAh batteries, and 2960 x 1440 resolution displays. Both will have two front cameras (8.1 MP) accompanied by a single back shooter (12.2 MP) which are powerful, but not anything to write home about. (Image: Evan Blass/Twitter)

2. Google Home Hub

The web got a peek at the Google Home Hub early thanks to recently filed FCC documents and a tweet from Job Prosser on Friday, according to The Verge. The images revealed on Twitter provide some functionality specs: overall, it performs similarly to Google Home speakers in regard to connecting to and voice-controlling smart home devices, as well as being able to bring up personal calendars, reminders, and commute times, for example. To set itself apart from the speaker, however, it is believed that users will receive visual and immersive Google answers and relevant YouTube videos to questions. This device should be available October 2, if Prosser's images are authentic. (Image: MySmartPrice)

3. Google Pixel Slate

Just this past Saturday, images of the upcoming Google Pixel Slate were leaked on MySmartPrice, revealing a detachable keyboard and matching capacitive stylus for the touch screen. Both sides of the tablet are equipped with a camera, and a fingerprint reader can be found on the top edge and a USB Type-C port on the side. The site also notes that the device in the images appears to be using a newer version of Chrome OS and will likely be powered by an ARM-based processor or ultra-low power CPU by Intel. The next generation of Pixelbook is also expected to make a debut at the event, but right now, we know almost nothing about this laptop, save that it should resemble its predecessor. 4. Google Pixel Stand

9To5Google has reason to believe that a charging Pixel Stand may be on its way by tearing down the APK - files used by Android devices to install and distribute applications that often contain code for upcoming devices. The site found this evidence back in July, and a couple weeks ago they posted a graphic animation of the phone appearing on a stand. We can reasonably conclude that a charging stand may be on the docket for today. (Image: 9To5Google)

5. Google Chromecast

Of course, we already know that a Chromecast is coming thanks to a Best Buy employee selling one to a customer. As of today, an official spec sheet should reveal what's under that new matte body. (Image: Reddit/GroveStreetHomie)

6. Google Pixel Buds

Lastly, we're expecting to see new and improved Google Pixel Buds according to highly credible tech leaker Evan Blass --- hopefully completely redesigned after the first generation's poor reviews, but we'll have to wait to find out. In the same tweet, Blass also claims that a "Pixel-branded watch" can be expected although nothing more is known, so that may be one for a later launch.
