Ganja worth Rs 25 lakh seized in Odisha’s Berhampur

Officials of Excise Department on June 28 arrested a man and seized 300 kg of Ganja form his possession. The market value of the seized Ganja is Rs 25 lakh. The accused was transporting the contraband in a vegetable-laden truck to Jamshedpur in Jharkhand from Ganjam district. According to police, “The contraband was concealed in a vegetable-laden truck and was transported to Jamshedpur in Jharkhand from Ganjam district of Odisha,”
