Come Wednesday and the team of an upcoming web-series Fixerr, featuring Mahie Gill, came face-to-face with a situation they were not prepared for. Producer of the film Sakett Saawhney spoke on a video which narrated the whole horrific incident.

He went on to mention that four drunk goons started attacking the sets claiming it was their property and the permission was not sought. He confirmed that the permissions were in place. In the video, one could quite clearly see that their director of photography Santosh Tundyal was attacked on the head. The director Soham Shah was holding his arm and Saawhney claimed that the helmer dislocated his shoulder during the attacks. He went on to add that the female crew was also badly manhandled. He and Mahie Gill elaborated that the female crew, including her, were beaten up and assaulted on the sets.

In the video shared by Ekta Kapoor, Sakett Saawhney went on to further reveal that the police was also involved. "They said come to court and then take your stuff. This is total harassment. We have consciously taken a call to not file a police complaint as you will call the other party, give them an NC (non-cognisable offence) and they will be out on bail. We, on the other hand, will forever be running to the court and be branded as 'criminals'. It is harassment for the industry," he said in the clip.

After the video went viral, news wire agency ANI confirmed that seven of the goons have been arrested, also stating that the cast and crew would meet Maharashtra CM today to discuss the issue. "Thane: Police has arrested seven people in connection with the incident where cast and crew of an under production web series 'Fixerr' featuring actor Mahie Gill, were allegedly attacked by goons yesterday. Cast & crew of 'Fixerr' to meet Maharashtra CM today," read the tweet.
