'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' star Stephanie Beatriz and husband Brad Hoss expecting first child

Actor Stephanie Beatriz and husband Brad Hoss are going the family way. The 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' star is pregnant with their first child and made the happy announcement during Pride Month 2021. For the uninitiated, Stephanie came out as a bisexual publicly back in 2016. The actor tied the knot with Brad in 2018 and nearly after three years of marital bliss the couple is expanding their family.

Talking about embracing motherhood, Beatriz told People, "I didn't think that a committed partnership was really for me. I couldn't really see kids. It wasn't that I was closed off to it. It was more that, I couldn't quite see how a baby fit into the life that I was building."

Stephanie also said that marrying Brad doesn't make her any less queer. She further said, "I was able to be my fullest, most authentic self around Brad. He's extremely empathetic and open."

'The Light Of The Moon' actor went on to say, "I think one of the best things you can do is raise a kid who understands that however, a person chooses to shape their one glorious life is worthy of celebration."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Stephanie wrapped filming of the eighth and the final season of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' in which she plays the role of Rosa Diaz. The 10-episode season is set to premiere this year on August 12. 

Beatriz will also be seen in a film titled 'In the Heights' based on the musical of the same name. The film is slated to release this month in the US.
