Popular Pakstani actress Mahira Khan has tied the knot for the second time as she got marrried to her businessman beau Salim Karim in Murree city in Pakistan's Punjab province. The actress's manager Anushay Talha Khan shared a couple of videos, showing the beautiful bride and emotional groom, on her Instagam Stories. These clips have gone viral on social media.
Mahira, who starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2017 crime drama Raees, had confirmed that she is dating Salim Khan in an interview with Samina Peerzada last year, as per Tribune.com. She had said, "Yeah, I think I am in love. I don't know, I am so shy about it", adding that her lover is not from the film industry. Salim Karim is the CEO of the startup company named Simpaisa, which facilitates transactions between merchants from different sectors in more than 15 countries worldwide.
The bride, who headlined the popular Pakistani drama Humsafar with Fawad Khan, wore a pastel-coloured lehenga with a veil and matching diamond jewellery for her wedding. Her outfit was designed by the popular Pakistani designer Faraz Manan. The groom chose a black sherwani with a blue turban for their special day.
Mahira Khan's first wedding happened in 2007 with Ali Askari. The ex-couple welcomed their son, whom they named Azlaan Askari in 2009 before getting officially divorced in 2015. It was reported that the actress's father Hafeez Khan was unhappy with their relationship and did not wish Mahira to get married with Aksari.
In 2017, it was also rumoured that Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are dating each other when a few photos went viral in which the Pakistani actress and the Indian actor were seen smoking cigarettes together in the United States of America. The actors also posed together at an awards event in Dubai in the same year bu soon, the speculations around their reported relationship died down.
