Australian opening batsman, David Warner was reminded of the nightmare 2019 Ashes series he had with the bat after seeing his nemesis Stuart Broad on the screen as he switched on his TV to watch the first Test match between England and New Zealand on Wednesday.
Warner endured a tough time in the five Test matches against England in the 2019 Ashes series scoring just 95 runs at an average of 9.5. However, his biggest nightmare was batting against Stuart Broad as the tall England pacer got him out 7 times out of 10.
Now, with only a few months to go David Warner, suggesting that he might have some sleepless nights when the 2021 Ashes comes, as he tried to get some sleep in his home in Australia. "Trying to get some sleep here in Aus but this bloke pops up on my tv screen!! Few months to get some sleep before the Ashes down under," he said.
