VIRAL VIDEO: A fan meets Ranbir Kapoor and touches his feet, the actor ends up getting brutally trolled!

Ranbir Kapoor is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra along with Alia Bhatt in Varanasi. The actor will be in the holy city for about 20 days to finish this particular schedule. Recently, a video from Varanasi surfaced online and was shared by one of the paps on Instagram. 

In the said video, a fan can be seen meeting Ranbir, probably at the hotel where he's staying. The fan immediately touches Ranbir Kapoor's feet on seeing the actor approaching him. The fan had even got some gifts and chocolates for his favourite star. Ranbir meets his fan with warmth and begins to unwrap the gift, the fan stations himself on the floor while Ranbir takes a seat on the couch. 

Now, this seems to have rubbed some of the netizens the wrong way. A number of them felt it wasn't nice on Ranbir's part to not ask the fan to take a seat beside him and let him sit on the floor. One of the netizens asked if Ranbir is God and why he isn't asking his fan to sit on the couch. Another called Ranbir proud and rude as one more commented asking if the actor was taught any manners in school. The video has now gone viral for all the wrong reasons.

While we feel that Ranbir was quite warm to his fan and it was nice of him to personally come down to meet him. We don't see him asking the fan to sit on the floor, the fan does that organically. Besides, the two of them seem to be in the middle of a conversation and probably the thought wouldn't even have crossed Ranbir's mind.
