Varun Dhawan is currently busy filming Street Dancer 3D along with Shraddha Kapoor and others. The actor, who will soon begin shooting for the remake of Coolie No.1 with Sara Ali Khan, took to his Twitter account on Monday evening and rubbished the reports claiming that the makers plan to recreate Mumbai's iconic VT Station in London for Coolie No.1 remake.
Earlier on Monday afternoon, a report on Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, "Varun plays a coolie in the film and a huge set has been built near London. The entire VT station has been recreated there. The makers are not keeping any stone unturned to make the set look as real as possible. Although they could have shot at Mumbai's VT too, it is difficult given the security concerns. That's why the producer Jackky Bhagnani decided to build an entire model of the famous terminus in the UK."
Now, taking to his Twitter page, Varun Dhawan cleared the air writing, "Not true but this actually made me laugh thank u for the humour."

Varun Dhawan is likely to begin shooting for Coolie No.1 remake sometime in August this year and is slated to hit the theatres on May 1, 2020. Apart from London, Coolie No 1 is supposed to be shot across several locations, beginning from Bangkok. Post that, the unit will reportedly shoot in London, followed by Goa and finally Mumbai.
This will be the first time that Varun will be seen sharing the screen space with Sara Ali Khan. The film originally starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the leads and was helmed by Varun's father David Dhawan. This would be Varun's second collaboration with his father after Judwaa 2.
