Karan Johar teases fans with exciting announcement, netizens guess it is 'Dostana 2'

While there were still speculations over who will be part of Karan Johar's Dostana 2, and whether the film is even going on floors any time soon, remained a mystery. However it looks like KJo might be all set to unveil details about the project soon enough.

Karan Johar took to Instagram a while back and shared a video which featured some interesting graphics. Beginning with two girl, two boys, a girl with two boys and a boy with two girls, the graphic has left us confused and excited at the same time.

To add the final nail, the text was 'It is what you think it is! Stay tuned. Announcement tomorrow!' Looking at the video, and the caption, the fans (including us) have received one hint - that the announcement could most likely be for Dostana 2.

Interestingly it was only a few days back that a report in Open Magazine stated that Rajkummar Rao could lead the film. He reportedly walked out of Ayushmann Khurrana's Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan to work on Karan Johar's project.

If Rajkummar Rao has been roped in for Dostana 2, it would be the first collaboration between Raj and Karan Johar. On the other hand, Tarun Mansukhani, who helmed Dostana, might also not direct Dostana 2. Also when Alia Bhatt's name popped up for the project, Karan denied the rumours. Details about the rest of the cast, along with the director, are expected to be announced on Thursday.
