Fukrey 3 box office collection day 4: Pulkit, Varun, Richa, Manjot-starrer continues to grow, earns Rs 15.18 crore

Fukrey 3 is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, who also helmed the first two parts in the franchise bankrolled by Excel Entertainment.

The Fukrey gang including Pulkit Samrat, Pankaj Tipathi, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, and its enemy Bholi Punjaaban Richa Chadha returned for the third film in the franchise as the film released in the theatres last week on September 28. Te film has been showing a tremendous growth at the box office earning Rs 43.48 crore in the first four days.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the updated box office numbers fo Fukrey 3 on his social media handles on Monday morning, October 2, and wrote, "#Fukrey3 goes on an overdrive on Day 4 [Sun]… The day-wise growth reiterates the fact that the third instalment in the #Fukrey series has also found acceptance...Eyes ₹ 55 cr - ₹ 60 cr *extended* weekend, which is PHENOMENAL.... Thu 8.82 cr, Fri 7.81 cr, Sat 11.67 cr, Sun 15.18 cr. Total: ₹ 43.48 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice."

The film might go on to collect more than Rs 100 crore as there is no major release in the next two weeks, except for Akshay Kumar's Mission Raniganj on October 6. Fukrey 3 is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, who also helmed the first two parts in the franchise bankrolled by Excel Entertainment. 

Earlier slated to release on December 1 with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal and Vicky Kaushal's Sardar Udham, Fukrey 3's release date was preponed to September 28 after Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's Salaar, which was earlier scheduled to hit theatres this week, was postponed and is now set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki in December.

Coming back to the comedy film, Fukrey 3 is the third part of the comedy franchise after Fukrey (2013) and Fukrey Returns (2017).  Ali Fazal, who was among the main cast members in the first two films, opted to miss the threequel as he had prior work commitments. He will be seen next in Vishal Bhardwaj's Khufiya, which starts streaming on Netflix on October 5.
