Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most followed Indian celebs on social media, especially on Twitter. The actor has about 37.4 million followers on the micro blogging site and the actor regularly likes to engage with his fans on his Twitter page as well. 

Amitabh Bachchan is also one of the most active Bollywood celebs on Twitter and looks like he's going to miss his account for a while now. Why do we say so? Well, the megastar's Twitter account has been hacked, reportedly by a pro-Pakistan Turkish group that goes by the name of Ayyildiz Tim. 

Minutes before the clock struck 12 late on June 10 night, Bachchan's followers were notified that he has changed his profile picture. As of now, Amitabh Bachchan's Twitter account has Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan's image as the display image. The hackers also sent out a warning and threatend the world, especially Iceland, saying that they'll begin a cyber attack. 


The tweet by the hackers read, "This is an important call to the whole world! We do condemn the irrespective behaviors of Iceland republic towards Turkish footballers. We speak softly but carry a big stick and inform you about the big Cyber attack here. As Ayyıldız Tim Turkish Cyber Armny +++"

As per recent reports, the Bachchans have informed the cyber cell and Maharashtra Cyber about Big B's Twitter account being hacked. The Mumbai Police PRO confirmed the same saying, "We have informed our cyber unit and Maharashtra Cyber about hacked Twitter account of @SrBachchan. They are investigating the matter. Further updates awaited."
