A 65-year-old man has alleged that a young female nurse raped him at Temple University Hospital in the middle of the night last month.
The unidentified man, who was recovering from a motorcycle accident at a Philadelphia hospital, said that the nurse entered his room at around 3:30 am, offered to bathe him and then sexually assaulted him in a bathroom, the New York Daily News reported.
Police are investigating the man’s claims.
Meanwhile, the hospital has denied the sex assault claims.
“When we were made aware of the allegation, we promptly investigated the matter and found no basis to support the claim, but we are cooperating fully with police,” the hospital said in a statement.
