Girl reaching boyfriend's house with wedding band goes viral, here's why

Many Indian weddings are full of drama and some wedding stories go viral. Similarly, a strange incident happened in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh when a girl reached her lover's house with a wedding band. The girl created a ruckus when she got information that her boyfriend who serves for the Indian Army was going to marry someone else. The girl went to her lover’s house in a procession with a wedding band and relatives.

After this, the girl started threatening to commit suicide if she fails to marry the man. After some time, the police reached the spot and talked to the girl and sent her back home.  

The girl also alleges that they both were having an affair for the past two years. A year ago, the girl had accused the boy of raping her on the pretext of marriage and had also filed a case in this regard.

In this case, Gorakhpur SP North Manoj Kumar Awasthi told that Sandeep Maurya, a resident of the Rampur area of the Chaurichaura police station area of the district, is in the army. He had a love affair with a girl from his community, but his marriage was fixed elsewhere. The girl lodged an FIR at Jhangha police station.
