'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actor Sachin Tyagi tests positive for COVID-19; shooting stopped

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Sachin Tyagi has been tested positive for coronavirus. The shooting for the daily soap has been happening in full swing which was stopped after he was diagnosed with COVID-19. Not only Sachin, but a few crew members of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai were also tested positive. Tyagi plays the role of Manish Goenka on the show and currently, his track is being shown extensively. 

As per reports in BollywoodLife, when Sachin was asked about being tested positive for coronavirus and about the shoot being stalled, he stated to an entertainment portal, "I can't say anything on this and request you to get in touch with the productions."

Earlier while talking about playing Manish on YRKKH, Sachin had told BL, "An actor uses his life's experience to perform. This character was such that 40-45 years of Manish's life have been wiped off from his memory. He started acting like a child. In such a situation, you need to think that if a kid of 3-4 years old is stuck between strangers, how scared and insecure he is going to be. You must have seen that if a kid gets lost at a mall, railway station or any public area, you see how incessantly they cry and they are not ready to listen to you. So that is the fear."

For the uninitiated, Sachin is married to actor Rakshanda Khan since 2014. They have a daughter together. Sachin also has two daughters from his previous marriage.
