Throwback: When Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande posed together on first day of 'Pavitra Rishta' shoot

Going by Sushant Singh Rajput's Facebook page, the actor never deleted his photos with Ankita Lokhande clicked during their six-year-long relationship. The couple was head over heels in love with each other before parting way in 2016. Met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta, their romance brewed while playing the leading roles of Manav and Archana respectively. We got our hands on a photo shared by SSR from the first-day shoot of their daily soap.

In the photo, Sushant wore a yellow checkered shirt and faded blue jeans. He donned a messy hair look which made him for a perfect Manav. Whereas Ankita looked pretty in a pink salwar suit with the long hairdo. Both were all smiles while posing for the camera. Sushant captioned the photo stating, "Me and @anky1912 on the first day of Pavitra shoot. #Nostalgia #Destiny". The late actor shared the photo on his Facebook page on April 15, 2015.

Meanwhile, Ankita recently spoke to Zee News about Sushant where she said that he would not have committed suicide due to the deeply entrenched nepotism in the film industry. She added that Sushant was not so weak that he would take such an extreme step as he was not getting films. Lokhande also said that SSR was a lively person and was not a weak man. He wanted to do bigger things in life. She also shared that had she been in his life, she would have saved him.
