Reem Shaikh quits 'Tujhse Hai Raabta', cites personal reasons

Reem Shaikh who became a household name with her stint as Kalyani on Tujhse Hai Raabta has decided to quit the show. Earlier there were several reports making the rounds that she is planning to quit the show. Now, as per reports in BollywoodLife, during an interaction with an entertainment portal, Reem has confirmed the report. The actor also cited that due to personal reasons she is no more going to be a part of Tujhse Hai Raabta.

Reem stated, "Yes, I have decided to move on because of some personal reasons and also because I want to explore my options. It has been a successful two years with the Tujhse Hai Raabta team and it is with a very heavy heart that I have taken this decision and I hope my fans keep supporting me. I just felt that this is the right time for me to challenge myself as an artist and experiment."

She added, "I am very passionate about my work and hope good work finds me again. Nonetheless, I have been blessed with the best cast and it was not an easy decision, for sure."

Her chemistry with Sehban Azim who plays the role of Malhari on Tujhse Hai Raabta was well-appreciated by the passes. Moreover, they have become close friends off-screen too which reflect on their onscreen chemistry.

Apart from Tujhse Hai Raabta, Reem has been a part of several shows before namely Na Bole Tum... Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2, Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman to name a few.
