Pooja Banerjee to juggle between 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' and 'Kumkum Bhagya', replaces Naina Singh in latter

Pooja Banerjee who recently resumed the shoot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay was in the news for also being a part of Kumkum Bhagya. It was being reported that she is likely to replace Naina Singh, who plays Abha in the show, onscreen daughter of Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha. Now during an interaction with a daily, the actor has confirmed the report and will be juggling between both Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kumkum Bhagya.

Talking about the same, she stated, "I was apprehensive initially, but fortunately, the sets of both the shows are located next to each other and I don’t have to travel at all. Even my make-up artist and the room will continue to be the same. It will be mainly about changing costumes. So, I don’t have to take extra precautions."

In Kumkum Bhagya, she will be seen as a 19-year-old, sharing her excitement on it, Pooja said, "I play Sriti (Jha) and Shabbir (Ahluwalia)’s daughter. I think I look younger than my age, so that won’t be a problem. Also, Sriti and Shabbir are relatively older than my age group, so playing the part won’t be a problem. I will be essaying negative roles in both the shows and they will give me a lot of scopes to perform."

Pooja along with the cast of Kasautii Zindagii Kay underwent a test for coronavirus after Parth Samthaan was tested positive. Everyone later revealed that they all have tested negative. They are likely to resume the shoot soon.
