Is Divyanka Tripathi replacing Erica Fernandes in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'? 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actor clarifies

From the past few days, there have been reports making the rounds that both Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes are quitting the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. In the daily soap, both of them play the lead roles Anurag and Prerna respectively. It is also being said that Parth is serving his notice period. On the other hand, reports started making the rounds that, Divyanka Tripathi Dahi will be replacing Erica as Prerna. 

However, Divyanka took to her Instagram story and clarified that it's just a mere rumour that she is a part of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Her post read as "DTD as Prerna in KZK? It's a rumour! (Just clearing the air for those who care)."

Earlier in an interview, Erica spoke about shooting for the show amid pandemic. She stated, "While shooting from home, I read a few scenes, which I felt wouldn’t have been effective if I shot them alone. Besides, I was not happy with what I saw on screen, and shooting alone was affecting my performance. I am on the show for a major part of it, and it wouldn’t look good if I was only going to be seen in close-ups with no interaction with my co-actors. The ratings were getting affected, and I didn’t want my show to suffer. Hence, I decided to return to the set. There was no pressure from the production house to come on the set; it is solely my decision."

Meanwhile, Divyanka was last seen in daily soap Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
